Objectives
To enable students to understand and design physical and chemical pollution control technologies for water and wastewater treatment.
Program
1 - Constituents of concern in wastewater treatment.
2 - Impact of regulations on wastewater engineering.
3 - Drinking water treatment.
4 – Wastewater treatment and reuse (Mechanical filtration, biological filtration, chemical filtration and disinfection).
5 - Hydraulic aspects in designing water treatment systems.

Lecture, laboratories, and field visits are included.
