Personal Presentation

Dr. Azevedo is a Principal Investigator and Professor of Genetics at the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences of the U.Porto (ICBAS), and member of the Unit for Multidisciplinary Research in Biomedicine (UMIB-ICBAS) where her research focus on (a) the identification and characterization of genetic modifiers of disease genes and (b) the exploration of the deleteriousness of de novo mutations, with a view to improving the understanding of genotype-phenotype correlations.
