Dr. Azevedo is member of the Unit for Multidisciplinary Research in Biomedicine (UMIB/ICBAS/UP) where her research focus on (a) the identification and characterization of genetic modifiers of disease genes and (b) the exploration of the deleteriousness of de novo mutations, with a view to improving our understanding of genotype-phenotype correlations.
