Personal Presentation

Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinics of Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Porto (ICBAS-UP).

She hold a first degree in Veterinary Medicine in Veterinary Medicine in 1987 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Technical University of Lisbon and a PhD in Veterinary Clinics in 2008 from the University of Porto and obtained the Title of Aggregate in Veterinary Sciences in 2017 from the University of Porto (ICBAS-UP)

She belongs to the Scientific Committee of the Doctoral Program in Veterinary Sciences and is an ORBEA Member of ICBAS-UP. Her research interest in experimental surgery and she belongs to a team of Regenerative Medicine in ICECA (Institute of Agrarian Science and Technology).

She teaches Surgery of Small Animal Surgery at the Masters in Veterinary Medicine (MIMV) and is director of the UPVet University Hospital.
