Degree in Biochemistry

Conjunction course with: Faculty of Science, University of Porto

Training of professionals holders of a solid base of fundamental knowledge in the field of Biochemistry , creating scientific and technological skills that allow : a) equivalence to cycles lectured by European institutions teaching the same grade; b ) the continuation , with reasonable autonomy , for advanced training in biochemistry , or related sciences, in 2nd cycle courses of European institutions; c ) immediate access to the labor market (Syllabus) .

Degree in Aquatic Sciences

This degree , established in 1981 , falls within the field of General and Aquatic Biology and is appropriate to the "Bologna Process " , having 3 years of duration . Its main objectives are to prepare future researchers , teachers and senior management of institutions and companies , with solid knowledge of general Biology and specific preparation in : Marine Biology , Aquatic Ecology , Aquatic Production , Animal Husbandry , Water Resources Management and Food Technology (Syllabus) .
