The laboratory is devoted to:

1) Scientific research, focused on biological consequences associated with antimicrobial and the environmental spread of drug-resistant bacteria, and also screening of antimicrobial activity compounds from diverse origins.

2) Services, including clinical microbiology, providing a wide range of bacterial culture and antimicrobial susceptibility diagnostic tests in support of the pet veterinary medicine, food microbiology and bacteriological analysis of drinking water.
