The Laboratory of Neuropsychophysiology at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto is home to research on Cognitive, Affective, and Social Neuroscience with an emphasis on EEG/ERP methods and meta-analytic approaches.

Our main focus is on the neural basis of the perception of emotion and social cognitive processes across development and personality traits, notably psychopathy.

We host equipment for high density EEG recordings in adults and children, portable EEG, psychophysiological recordings (polygraphs), and eye-tracking.
