Teaching methods and learning activities
The course, organized around the three outlined themes/contents, is developed through student-centered topics, with a focus on accessibility and the social construction of knowledge. In-person thematic debates, discussions, and reflections in online forums are activities designed to foster interaction, idea-sharing, and the collective construction of knowledge, based on the plurality of experiences and perspectives while valuing diversity.
The face-to-face component of the course is complemented by a virtual classroom hosted on the University of Porto’s MOODLE Learning Management System, where supplementary learning resources will be provided for each topic to support study and research. These procedures, aimed at organizing and mapping political discourses and theoretical frameworks, will support critical analyses, as well as the reconfiguration, sharing, and creation of mediated resources in theoretical-practical classes.
