Successful completion of this module implies that students will be able to:
Show a broad understanding of the challenges to human and sustainable development
Reveal knowledge about the goals for sustainable development and the strategies for achieving it

Value and show the critical appropriation of a series of competencesThis module is structured around the areas of critical importance and the goals for sustainable and human development defined in the Agenda 2030, focusing on the integration of theoretical and practical knowledge on these issues. The module involves an approximation to local, national and global realities, including contact with key community members.

Planet: views on protection from degradation, sustainable consumption and production, sustainable management of natural resources, action on climate change, for the present and the future

The attainment of the UC implies:
1 - At least 75% attendance of the planned seminars
2 - Viva presentation of approximately 15 minutes, including demonstration by students of their integration of theory and practice and reflection on their learning
3 - Design and rationale for a small scale research at the local level (2000 words); showing the student’s critical engagement with the national and global policy context of action towards sustainability and human development
