Objectives
This uc seeks to introduce fields and professional experiences of graduates in education according to the different areas of professional pre-specialization under the program. It is intended, by this means, to make a first approach to the field of work, susceptible to clarify for students what are contexts and work situations in educational sciences.
Learning outcomes and competences
The following learning outcomes and competencies are expected to arise:
a) building a comprehensive knowledge of professional field of intervention in educational sciences, knowing how to identify concrete situations;
b) appropriating fundamentals and practices of work in education, through mobilization of resources of diverse nature, fundamentally theoretical support;
c) collaborating in institutions and spaces of social and solidarityparticipation , cultural activity, identifying their educational dimensions;
d) collaborating in institutions and spaces of formal educational activity, identifying their relevance in the context of their training;
e) reflectiing, both individually and in group, around speeches and documents on the intervention space in educational sciences;
f) developing experiential knowledge around social belonging to the most diverse formats of organization, rising from citizens ' initiative, as described in subparagraphs (c) and (d))).

3 - Education and training of Adults and Local development
4 – Education and culture and leisure contexts
II – Foundations of knowledge and practices in education:
1 – Basic Knowledge of education and its articulation with the areas professional pre-specialization
2 – Work in education: socioeducational mediation
III – articulation of the pillars of education with educational and citizen participation:
1 – Modes of social participation (associative, community service and volunteering, social work, cooperatives and school educational field)
2 – Institutions of formal, non-formal and informal education

Teaching methods and learning activities
The UC works in mixed regime, interspersing the three constituent dimensions of training. Shall be deemed, for the purposes of face-to-face work time, 25 h of seminar (Chapter II of syllabus), 25 h of field work (Chapter I syllabus) and 7 h of Tutorial guidance (Chapter III of syllabus). Compliance with the CHapter III will also take place in autonomous work sessions, in addition to the tutorial guidance.

Eligibility for exams
In accordance with the rules of assessment, students obtain frequency when participating in 3/4 of sessions efectively carried out. Except those students who, by law, are exempted from attendance in class, whose must negotiate with the teacher evaluation system.
Calculation formula of final grade
The evaluation adopts a distributed assessment with no final exam. Chapters I and II organize a set of partial reports (individual reports of the sessions in Chapter I and group presentations in Chapter II), with a weighting of 50% of the final evaluation. The work developed along Chapter III, but also of the othe chapters, will be mobilized to an individual critical reflection at the end of the seminar, whose weighting is 50% in the final evaluation of UC.
