Objectives

- To clarify the aims, values and principles, which should today guide the practice of psychosocial rehabilitation. - To identify the specificities of the different stages of recovery process. - To prepare diagnosis of rehabilitation, in accordance with the principles, methods and instruments usually used. - To identify different methodologies of cognitive rehabilitation and psychosocial rehabilitation. - To reflect critically about psychosocial rehabilitation models.

Teaching methods and learning activities

Teaching methodology is initially in class lectures taught by professors of FPCEUP and ESTSP, trying to situate students on what is and has been the psychosocial rehabilitation. Secondly is performed a discussion about topics with guests who have experience of intervention or research, presenting and discussing case studies that able students to progress with diagnostics and intervention proposals. Evaluation is made by a final written work were is discussed a case and presented the critical thinking carried out by the student about what he learned during the semester.
