Personal Presentation

Mariana Martins' research within reproductive health has been focused on protective and risk factors that can influence the couple’s relationship and decisions through fertility care, gestational loss and family formation.
She is also the past-coordinator of the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embriology (ESHRE) Psychology and Counselling Special Interest Group and coordinates de Psychology Section of the Portuguese Society of Reprductive Medicine.
Besides being an assistant professor at Porto Univeristy and an integrated research member of the Centre for Psychology at University of Porto, she is also a clinical psychologist at the FPCEUP community clinic.
