Abstract (EN):
In this work a thermodynamic study and an energy analysis are performed on the autothermal and sorption-enhanced reforming of olive mill wastewater (OMW), to produce green hydrogen. The thermodynamic equilibrium compositions are calculated by using the Gibbs free energy minimization method. The effect of different parameters is assessed for the different reactor configurations. The results show hydrogen yields close to the theoretical maximum for the sorption-enhanced autothermal reforming of OMW whilst operating in thermally neutral conditions. © 2022 Proceedings of WHEC 2022 - 23rd World Hydrogen Energy Conference: Bridging Continents by H2.
