Resumo (PT): Two-dimensional scaled physical tests were carried out in the Hydraulics Laboratory wave tank of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, with three models of submerged breakwaters. The flow velocities, pressures and water surface elevations were measured at different points on the slope and crown of the breakwater models. The variation of these variables was analyzed along the wave phase, and maximum and minimum values were determined to detect sensitive areas. Analyses of the influence of wave parameters such as the wave height and wave period, and of structural parameters such as roughness and permeability were also performed.
