Abstract (EN): Plexiform fibrohistiocytic tumour is a rare fibrohistiocytic tumour of intermediate malignancy that occurs almost exclusively in children and young adults. It usually presents as a dermal or subcutaneous mass of the extremities composed by histiocytes, oval giant cells and fibroblasts, organized in a plexiform pattern. The immunohistochemical profile and clinical behaviour remain controversial, but high rates of local recurrence and low rates of metastatic disease have been described. Complete excision is recommended. We report a case of such a tumour of the lower lip, an unusual location, in a 45-year-old man. After wide excision, a good functional and aesthetic result was obtained. No recurrence was seen in 6 months of follow-up.
