Abstract (EN): Previous studies of psychosocial work factors have indicated a probable high prevalence of health diseases. Whether this can be attributed to the nature of work environment factors is not clear. No previous systematic review has used inclusion criteria based on evidence of specific medical evaluation of health-related work outcomes and psychosocial validated instruments for the study population to ascertain the link between work-related psychosocial factors on workers' health. This systematic review aimed to assess the methodological quality of evidence of work-related psychosocial factors on workers' health. A systematic review was carried out by searching the databases PubMed, BON, Science Direct, Psycarticles, Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection and search engine Google for studies published from 2004 to 2014. This review is based on Statement for Reporting Systematic Reviews (PRISMA). From the 10623 studies identified, 10 met the inclusion criteria. A more consistent effect was observed in studies of higher methodological quality which used a prospective design and specific medical evaluation. More prospective studies are needed to assess the evidence of work-related psychosocial factors on workers' health.
