Advanced Statistics Module
The implementation of medical procedures based on scientific evidence is a priority, as well as the realization that the desired effects may result from the influence of many factors. For this reason, it is intended that students acquire skills in implementing and analyzing results based on multivariate statistical methods to combine the influence of the determinants of disease causation. Also, it is intended to acquire skills in obtaining statistical forecasting models with scientific validity, and recognize the fundamental role played by statistical significance and clinical significance in achieving a scientifically valid medical knowledge.
