Abstract (EN):
The digital ecosystem offers brands new ways to engage with consumers and develop business opportunities, but luxury brands have been hesitant to fully adopt it. This study examines the existing literature on luxury brands in the digital ecosystem to assess the current state of knowledge and explore future research directions. A systematic literature review (SLR) following the PRISMA protocol was conducted, the research identifies and synthesises studies related to the keywords ¿Luxury,¿ ¿Brand,¿ and ¿Digital,¿ using Scopus as the primary database. The search spans from 2009, the earliest identified publication in this emerging field, to the present. Articles were screened for relevance, resulting in a selection of key studies for analysis. The findings critically discuss luxury brands¿ relationship with the digital ecosystem, highlighting significant insights and proposing avenues for future research to deepen understanding of this evolving phenomenon. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.
