Abstract (EN): Gentrification is a transformative process reshaping urban and rural landscapes worldwide, with profound implications for public health and health inequalities. This edited volume provides a multidisciplinary and comprehensive exploration of the complex relationships between gentrification and health, drawing on diverse theoretical perspectives, empirical evidence, and methodological approaches. It examines the psychosocial, behavioural, and environmental pathways underlining the health impacts of various manifestations of gentrification, discusses innovative and established research methods to address the challenges of studying gentrification and health, and presents case studies from various global contexts from Europe to North and Latin America, Asia, and Australia.
