Resumo: |
The project aims to strengthen the performance and capacity of healthcare innovation ecosystems, their efficient interconnection and their alignment towards EU-level priorities. Healthcare ecosystem actors from three regions - Greece, Poland and Portugal - will come together to better understand their challenges and prepare joint multi-annual action plans in order to foster common innovation-support activities and facilitate the creation of common knowledge assets. Partners need to plan commitments of at least three years towards engaging in the joint cooperation activities set out in the frame of the projects.
The increased focus on advanced, data-driven healthcare technologies and treatments emphasises the importance of participation in interregional research and innovation, both in terms of joint developments and access to ecosystem resources. Hence, the consortium will strive for driving open innovation across regions to accelerate the validation and scaling of digital health solutions. Open innovation can be a natural and logical response to building stronger public-private partnerships and bridging the innovation valley of death - moving from research to the market - and co-create innovation. |
