Teaching methods and learning activities

The UC Project I has a "tutorial" character and fits into the pedagogical model "Project Based Learning", being obliged the project leader to make the necessary efforts for its full realization. The specific teaching and learning methodologies to be applied are necessarily diverse for different students. However, the projects to be developed should frame the students in the specific scientific areas of each of the FFUP departments, namely Biological Sciences, Drug Sciences and Chemical Sciences.

Due to the tutorial nature of this curricular unit, the 162 hours of work attributed to this course unit (6 ECTS) are distributed over 13 working weeks to 8 hours per week, with the remaining hours being used to prepare the final report and presentation. The student must submit the report after 15 weeks.
