Abstract (EN): Whereas typhoid fever is still an endemic disease in some parts of the world, meningeal involvement in this disease is a rare occurrence. We report a case of Salmonella typhi meningitis in a 70-year-old woman. The patient was treated with ampicillin and the only sequela was right-sided deafness.
