No entanto, a exposição a AT quente não é a única preocupação. No seu conjunto contemplam o AT confortável, quente e frio.
Abstract (EN): In recent decades, global temperatures show tendencies of rapid increase, and a more variable climate, affecting the global Thermal Environment (TE). Nevertheless, the exposure to TE is not the only concern. The cold AT is frequent, even in tropical regions, due to the necessity to cool and freeze food. The exposure to hot and cold in the working environment affect occupational safety and health. In this context, Brazil it is particularly affected due to its geographical position. Therefore, the objective of this review was to study Brazilian regulatory (RN) and technical (TN) norms on AT in order to organize and present information. The official websites of the Ministry of Labour and Employment of Brazil and Fundacentro were searched, using the keywords: "cold", "hot", "heat", "unhealthy', "thermal", "temperature" and "humidity'. In this review, 12 of 36 encountered RN were included, in addition to one TN. Combined, it contemplates the comfortable, hot and cold TE. The results show that only air temperature was considered in all TE. The RN do not consider environmental temperatures between 15 and 20 degrees C. As a conclusion to the review, it was verified that norms need improvements, namely the inclusion of fundamental factors affecting the human response, such as the consideration of such as consideration of basic clothing-isolation-values or adjustments in metabolism rate levels.
