Summary:

FITT-NESS aims to drive the twin transition in the furniture area in 2 less developed regions (in Portugal and Spain) preparing them to invest in innovative areas such as smart homes, age-friendly environments and green buildings. The project will foster collaborative innovation and enhance the capacity of those regional innovation ecosystems, empowered by the example of a highly developed region (Milan, Italy). It emphasizes co-creation dynamics among 4-helix stakeholders in each region to facilitate joint innovation projects and participation in European value chains, thereby building their capability to engage in future interregional innovation projects and initiatives.
