INSTRUCTIONS
The FFUP Academic and Registrar Management Service sent to the email indicated in your application the new access credentials to do the registration.
Please note that you can only access the system on the dates defined for each one of the registration phases.
To start your registration process, you must access to Enrolment.
Once on the page, please execute the following steps:
REQUEST FOR ACCREDITATION
If you wish to apply for accreditation ("equivalence") of academic training undertaken at a higher education institution, you should consult the available information here (PT only).
Once you have submitted the accreditation request online and the Academic Management Service has validated it, you should pay for it by accessing your "Current Account".
STUDENT WORKER STATUS
If you wish to apply for Student Worker Status at the University of Porto, you must download the form (PT only), fill it in and attach the requested documents, depending on your professional situation, and send/deliver it within 20 working days of enrolment.
PHOTO (ONLINE)
You must submit a photograph on your personal SIGARRA student page. (Requirements: "passport size" photograph, in colour, preferably with a neutral background; 200 pixels high by 160 pixels wide; JPG format; medium quality or higher in the JPG compression algorithm; or use a laptop webcam). ENROLMENT FOR LABORATORY CLASSES
Registration carried out by the Academic Management Service, whose timetable can be consulted on the student's personal page in SIGARRA, under the ‘Timetable’ option, in September 2025.
LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE (for international students)
The letter of acceptance required to issue the visa will be sent via email after validation of enrolment by Academic Services.
VALIDATION OF DOCUMENTS
If you need a
Declaration of Benefits (PT only) , print out a copy for each purpose, you should fill it in and request validation from the Academic Management Service, by email or in person.
Validation of this or any other documents will be done if the student has paid their school insurance and first instalment of tuition fees.
