With a clear objective on a better understanding of diagnosis, prevention and/or treatment of the disease, can be included in this scope the development of fundamental or applied research on man biological and physiological processes (but also of on animal processes).

Postgraduate training in Clinical Analysis requires solid and multidisciplinary knowledge that allows the execution, implementation and development of methodologies, the evaluation and validation of laboratory information, and the implementation of laboratory quality control and management systems, given the importance of laboratory error under these circumstances.

The curricular plan of this Master in Clinical Analysis (MAC), reflects the multidisciplinarity and specificity of this area of knowledge, and establishes as global objectives, among others:

Updated and consistent training in the different scientific areas that make up Clinical Analyses;
The guarantee of a considerable and effective laboratory component;
The promotion of academic and scientific training necessary for the pursuit of higher education studies in the different scientific areas covered by Clinical Analyses.

MAC is organized in 4 semesters, with a total of 120 ECTS, 72 of which are attributed to the Course, composed of 13 compulsory curricular units, which take place in the first 2 semesters and part of the third. The remaining 48 ECTS are attributed to the completion of the Professional Internship or Scientific Dissertation.
