Evaluation Type

Distributed evaluation with final exam

Assessment Components

designation Weight (%)
Exame 70,00
Participação presencial 12,00
Trabalho laboratorial 18,00
Total: 100,00

Eligibility for exams

- Student attendance to the classes is mandatory. Those students whose attendance is lower than 3/4 of the classes predicted. - Attendance to Theoretical classes is not compulsory.

Calculation formula of final grade

Final grade is obtained in the following way: 70% written exam + 30% lab grade.

Examinations or Special Assignments

Elaboration of preparation forms and determination of compounded medicines price.

Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)

- The exams for the special regime students are carried out in accordance with that established in the applicable legislation for each specific situation.

Classification improvement

- The student has the right to request the repeat of the final and/or laboratorial exam tests to improve the mark in the resource period of the academic year in which he/she carried out those tests or in one of the normal or resource periods in the course of the two following academic years. - The repeat of the tests to improve the mark can be undertaken only once per subject. - The final subject classification will be the higher of those obtained in the two tests carried out. - In the case of subjects which also carry out evaluation in the laboratorial teaching, the final classification will be that resulting from weighting the final exam mark with that which the student obtained when evaluated in the laboratorial teaching.

Observations

Previous knowledges of subjects focused in Pharmaceutical Techonology I and II and practical skills on Pharmacopoeias and Formularys consultation.
