Objectives

This course aims to enable students to potentiate the technical and scientific knowledge, complementary skills for their future professional activity. Given the intense workload of the course (648 hours), intended for students willing to work on a project full-time for one semester under mobility programs, enabling them to acquire skills of adaptability to new environments and professional study / research. In this project, students must also acquire basic concepts and procedures in a pharmaceutical or research activity that is complementary to their academic training with a view to a gain better integration and insertion in the labor market.

Learning outcomes and competences

It's specific objective of the course to provide students with a general competence in preparing a work plan, providing them with methods of organization, information gathering and processing of technical data or experimental that will be evaluated by their supervisor.

The program of this course is based on concrete proposals for projects where tutors must indicate, in addition to the project title, a short summary of it, the scheduling of tasks and the goals to be achieved for the skills of the student (Max 1 page).
The programs will be presented by the proponents of the project to the Department Project Coordinator. The approval of the programs is the responsibility of the Coordinator.

Teaching methods and learning activities

The following methodologies in the discipline of Project II, necessarily diverse, designed to provide students with the ability to search, analyze and apply information significant, reflect and transmit contents seized, either individually or in a group when inserted. Given the individualized teaching methods should have character "tutorial" being obliged to guiding their design to make the necessary efforts for its full implementation.
The selection, preparation and organization of work processes vary in each case, depending on their specific objectives, stemming the use of methods and techniques of the methodological choices made.
Given the eminently tutorial of this course, the 648 hours of work assigned to this course (24 ECTS) are distributed by one semester of work.

Completion of the work program related to the approved project.

Calculation formula of final grade

The final evaluation will have a qualitative component by responsibility of the supervisor and will be based on the criteria defined in the project proposal validated by the coordinator. This assessment should be forwarded to the coordinator as soon as possible to finish the project.
The quantitative evaluation will be the responsibility of the Coordinator, to be based on qualitative assessment provided by the supervisor.
