MSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry

The Master in Pharmaceutical Chemistry is innovative at UP and has a human, scientific and technological potential that will allow training professionals with appropriate skills to intervene with added value in Industry, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry.

This study cycle provide Masters:

  1. Important knowledge to understand, predict and be able to act and take initiatives in an area of great importance and in constant innovation, which is the medicine area;
  2. Ability to intervene in very diverse areas of research and innovation, namely Chemistry and Biology;
  3. Adequate preparation for the continuation of research in this area at the level of the 3rd cycle, in which there is already an offer at FFUP.

Employment Prospects

The training of professionals who are able to manage the design, planning and technologies of new active substances provides students with professional perspectives ranging from the pharmaceutical, biotechnological, nanotechnological, cosmetic industry, pharmaceutical and regulatory dossiers and others. Therefore, the proposed study cycle allows access to various professional functions in the labor market.
