Personal Presentation

Elda Marques is Assistant Professor of Law at the Department of Law at the Faculty of Economics, University of Porto.

She has a master and PhD in Company Law obtained at the Faculty of Law, University of Coimbra.

Her research area is within company law (especially mergers and acquisitions, preference shares, company groups and leveraged buyouts), securities law, European and international company law, corporate finance law and recently innovation law (specifically UE market rules for crypto-assets).

She has published book chapters and a number of papers in national peer-reviewed journals. She has been invited for attending in some national conferences in the area of company law.
