The subject of Competition Law aims to provide students with the essential knowledge about the current state of the main concepts of competition law with regard to the rules applicable to undertakings.
The contents of the syllabus intend to enable students with a theoretical and practical knowledge of legal and economic concepts underlying the application of competition law, building capacity or subsumption of entrepreneurial behaviors to concrete rules of competition law.
It is also aimed to put students into contact with European and national panoramas of the functioning and powers of antitrust enforcement institutions. The study is accompanied by the analysis of the relevant procedural rules, in order to enable understanding of the processes of application of competition law, both in the antitrust and mergers control fields.
