1. Economics and Environment: Introductory approach: Interaction, notion of Environmental Economics, basic concepts
2. Fundamental concepts in Environmental Economics: free riding, environmental externality, private costs, external costs and social costs, market approach
3. Economic foundation of environmental policy instruments and their application in practice: Forms of internalization of environmental externalities by environmental policy instruments
4. Carbon market: functioning; ETS; price determinants
5. environmental "value": concepts of environmental goods value; methods for monetary valuation of environmental benefits/damages
6. Application cases in environmental policies
