Objectives
The Thesis project consists in elaborating and presenting the dissertation's working plan (background, objetioves, hypotheses, taks and cronogra), properly framed in the state of the art. This UC allows to develop the capacity for critical analysis of the literature related to the issues to be addressed throughout the PhD thesis, as well as the ability to plan experiments or other research activities to be developed within the scope of the thesis, including detailed scheduling, forecasting costs and funding
Learning outcomes and competences
Acquisition of skills for planning and conducting the work leading to the doctoral dissertation, as well as for the conception and planning of other works and scientific projects.

Teaching methods and learning activities
The course is essentially interactive, involving the continuous contact between the PhD student and his supervisor, allowing to clarify doubts throughout the literature survey, the planning of experiments and other activities

Calculation formula of final grade
Report with the description of the thesis project (70%) and an oral presentation, discussion and defense of the doctoral plan with the Jury (30%).
