Objectives

At the end of the course, students should be able to understand the importance of issues related to the functions of the environment, assets and environmental policies, thus understanding the role of sustainable development. They should also understand the concepts of circular economy, externalities and their implications, and environmental assessment through the main methods used.

Teaching methods and learning activities

Learning is based on theoretical-practical classes, with particular importance being given to the participation of students and their interventions on the topics taught. Students will be invited to read and present scientific literature on the topics covered, which will allow them greater learning autonomy and a better understanding of the contents.
