Objectives

To investigate the concepts, tools, and practices of entrepreneurship and to identify and exercise entrepreneurial skills through assignments:

- Have a better understanding of student's personal entrepreneurial capacity

- Identifying new venture opportunities

- Evaluating the viability of a new venture

- Writing a business plan that will be ready for investor review,

- Understanding which skills are necessary for success and building a team that possesses those attributes

- Financing, starting, and operating a business

- Know the different business issues needed to create an organization

- Know how to do a business plan, with the operational, marketing, strategic and financial plans

Teaching methods and learning activities

The course wants to give the students the tools to create a business, so there will be classes where the theoretical issues will be discussed, but the main centre will be working in simulations and concrete, applied situations, with a very active role from students.
