Objectives

To obtain the knowledge of the processes of topographic map production, the national map series and the rules for its production.

Learning outcomes and competences

Students will achieve capabilities of analysing and adapting technical specification of map production, execute the essencial procedures of map production by photogrammetrica means, as well as carrying out quality control of digital map products.

Teaching methods and learning activities

The course encompasses lectures that are presented using multimedia technologies. Development of two projects (conventional aerial photography and drone) comprising all the process of digital map production and quality control.
An individual work will be carried out and a report will be produced. This work will be presented and discussed.
