Program

Basic animal tissue and organ histology. Cardiovascular system and its control. Gas exchange and gas transport in the blood and regulation of the respiratory system. Gastrointestinal tract: organization, secretions, motility, digestion and absorption. Organism functional states and their regulation. Kidney and body fluid and homeostasis. Reproduction and its endocrine control.

Attendance of practical classes compulsory (absences allowed ≤ 25% of the programmed practical lessons). Students that have attendance of practical classes in the previous year can require exemption of attendance.

Final examination: theoretical part (14/20) + theoretical /pratical part (6/20). Theoretical part minimum: 40% Students will be aproved if classification is equal or higher than 9,5.
