Objectives

The aim of the course is to initiate students in research/public awareness in astronomy, where they can apply knowledge and skills gained in other courses. Contact with researchers in astronomy is encouraged to allow greater integration of the student in the working environment. The project, which must be related to astronomy, may be a work in research theoretical, instrumental, computational and/or public awareness in astronomy. Thus each project also has specific objectives, which depend on the theme and work involved. In the case of research projects, Extracurricular Internship Programs (PEEC) and Research Integration Porjects (BII with a scholarship) may be used, for example. In these two later cases, selected projects can be used only if this course is selected in the second semester.
