Objectives:
Initial and basics knowledge in the area of Systems and Linear Control. The discipline provides for computational simulation of systems using CAD tools, namely MATLAB and Simulink
Skills:
Problem-solving skills. Theoretical understanding.
Mathematic Models for Dynamical Systems: sicrete and contínuos time. Nonlinear models;Mathematic description. Mathematic description of systems using state models. Linearization. Solution of sattate space equation. Laplace transform, transition matrix, impulsonal response and transfer function;
Controlability and observability; definitions, PHP test, canonical controllable and observable forms. Transfer function realizations;
Stability; intern stability, definition and tests: external stability : BIBO stability
Observers and state controllers: state feedback and internal stability:
Assimptotic observers, stabilization, separation principle.
Analysis and description of domain frequency systems
The syllabus provided will be treated in the lectures, which will introduce the relevant proposed concepts and demonstrate some of the results. In the lectures countless problems and application examples will also be solved.
Practical classes will be offering exercises and will give the necessary support to the students for their understanding and resolution. All learning objectives have direct correspondence with the programmed contents described, being the subject of work in different types of classes provided.
