Fundamental rules of style. Scientific documents.

Tools for the production of scientific text:main paradigms. Introduction to LaTeX. Structure of a document,writing equations, cross-references and citations. Literature search. Automatic production of bibliographies.

Oral Presentations: golden rules

Eligibility for exams

Submission of abstract and oral presentation on time.

Calculation formula of final grade

It will be released a list of mini-projects. Up to datepre-determined students should submit a summary of themini-project chosen.

In the days and hours scheduled, each student will make a presentation of 10 minutes with 2 minutes forquestions, in public session.

  • The completion of the summary andpresentation within the time required guarantee rating of 10values.
  • The summary and the presentation will be graded on a rubric and may explain up to a maximum of 10 additional values.

Students who do not present the summary or not make apresentation on time-frequency are excluded.

Final Standings for students who obtain frequency

X-rating summary (0-4)

Y - Rating presentation (0.10)

C = 10 + (X + y) / 1.4

Classification improvement

The improvement is achieved through submission of written essay on the theme of oral presentation.
