Objectives

Understand and characterize key concepts of time-varying fields and Maxwell equations,in integral and diferential forms. To study transmission lines using the corresponding distributed parameters and the Smith diagram. Model plane-parallel waveguides, rectangular and cylindrical and their modes of operation. Introduce resonant cavities.
