To understand the genesis and development of relief/landscape of Portugal in connection with the geotectonic setting and exogenic processes.
To identify and describe the landforms characteristics and its relationship with the geomorphic processes and climate.
It is intended that students acquire skills in:
- to observe the relief/landscape to identify and characterize the landforms;
- to relate the landforms with the geomorphological processes and climate;
- to understand the genesis of landforms and its evolution in the geological and tectonic setting in association with the exogenous processes.
