Objectives
To provide a survey of the mathematical structure of statistics.
Program
This course is a strong introduction to the mathematical theory of statistics. Topics covered include general concepts as sufficienty and completeness, exponential families, unbiased estimation, confidence sets, theory of Neyman-Pearson, likelihood tests. An introduction to nonparametric methods is also given.

Calculation formula of final grade
The final classification is the weighted mean between the classification of the tests or final exam and the project, this with 20%.
Examinations or Special Assignments
The evaluation includes the preparation and discussion of a project, corresponding to 20% of the overall classification.
