I am an integrative biologist using reptiles as main (but not exclusive) model organisms. My interests embrace ecology, physiology, behaviour, morphology, life history, biogeography, interspecific relationships and conservation focusing on functional aspects, using experimental procedures and working under an evolutionary framework.
My research is developed through the Functional Biodiversity (FBIO) group at at CIBIO-InBIO. Nevertheless, the nature of my research prioritises scientific networking. Researchers worldwide may find synergies based on my published work and suggest collaborative projects in equal terms.
