The period for enrolment will take place online between September 3th from 2:00pm (Lisbon time: GMT+0) and September 10th, 2024. To enrol, you must use the access credentials used in your application.. The registration in curricular units that make up the Study Plan (1st and 2nd semester) is mandatory. After enrolling, you must access the system with your student credentials (upXXXXXXXXX) and select the curricular units you want. |

Regulation
Before enrolling, we alert you to the importance of reading the information regarding Regulations and Tuition fee, namely Registration as a Full time or Partial time student, Student Worker Status and Attendance withdrawal.
At the end of the enrolment process, by clicking “Enrolment and registration”, you will be automatically acquiring all the duties and rights of a regular student of the University of Porto. According to the legislation and regulatory standards in place, you will be subject to the fulfilment of the payment of academic insurance, tuition fee and other applicable fees as per the Table of Fees of the University of Porto.

Denial of Enrolment
You will not be able to enrol if:
- You have not submitted the required documents that attest your qualifications/degree. The certificate must be emailed to pos.graduacao@fc.up.pt by 12 a.m. (Lisbon time: GMT+0) on the last day of registration.
- If you completed your degree abroad and you have not submitted a validated document with the Hague Apostille or validation from the Portuguese Consulate/Embassy in the country where the degree was concluded. In this case, you must send the respective document by email to pos.graduacao@fc.up.pt by 12 a.m. (Lisbon time: GMT+0) on the last day of registration for the course.
Vacancies – from 11/09/2024 until 16/09/2024
In the event that there are remaining vacancies, the services will contact those who obtained the "not accepted" result, following the order in which the final results are ranked. The expression of interest in taking a vacancy and enrolling in the course must be made within a maximum period of two working days, counting from the date of receipt of the email sent by the services.
International Students - Ordinance nº 111/2019, from April 12th
In order to comply with recent national regulations (Ordinance nº 111/2019, from April 12th), regarding the process of issuing visas for foreign students placed in Portuguese Universities, we hereby request that you inform us the consular post which is responsible for issuing your visa. The information must be sent via e-mail to pos.graduacao@fc.up.pt.
Our Rectory will send this information to the Directorate-General for Consular Affairs and Portuguese Communities, to expedite the procedures for issuing visas. However, this information does not exempt the process between the student and the consular post.Course Duration
The official duration of the master degree is of two academic years, when attended in full time regime (registration in 60 ECTS each academic year, 120 ECTS in total). When attended in partial time the duration becomes of at least three academic years, depending on the number of ECTS taken each year. The tuition fee will depend on the number of ECTS of have enrolled. You can check the tuition fees on the page of the respective course
Start of Semester
Classes for the 1st semester will start on September 19th, 2024. For detailed information about the academic year, you can consult the 2024/2025 School Calendar
Class/Schedule Enrolment
Schedules will be attributed by the department responsible for the course. The schedule of each curricular unit will be published in their respective page on SIGARRA For detailed information regarding schedules, you can consult the page: Inscrições nas Turmas .
