Objectives
The internship aims to develop the
students' ability to meet the real world
challenges and to promote their professional integration in a wide range of companies.
Learning outcomes and competences
During the internship students should be able to:
1. be integrated in the company's work processes ;
2. apply the knowledge obtained in the Bsc degree and in the course units of the study cycle for analyzing and solving business problems.

Program
The internship proposals are provided by companies with which the FCUP and the Mathematics Department, has cooperation agreements. The proposals are validated by the Master Scientific Committee.

Calculation formula of final grade
The internship is evaluated according to the following directives:
Autonomy with which the work was done
(Information to be provided by the external supervisor)
Satisfaction of objectives
(Assessed by the report and the external supervisor's information )
Intrinsic difficulty level of their work
(Assessed by the report and presentation/discussion)
Examinations or Special Assignments
Final grade
The final grade is given based on the assessment reported by the company, on a final report and
the public presentation prepared by the student.
The board includs from 3 to 5 elements, proposed
by the Scientic Commitee and aproved by
the Dean of the Faculty.
