Apresentação Pessoal

Born and brought up in Mozambique. Major in Plant Breeding by Texas A&M University, and joined the GAOT Department in 1998, as an Auxiliary Professor, of the Agrarian Sciences, of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. My research focuses on the evaluation of genetic variation, for crop improvement: to identify determinants of abiotic and biotic stress in legumes, and to quantify and identify metabolites that may confer tolerance to biotic and abiotic stress in legumes.
