Data scientist.

Specialty: data driven stochastic dynamic models, dynamic data assimilation, simulation, estimation and forecasting, predictive models under uncertainty, data fusion, MSO, queuing systems.

 Education: Degree in Applied Mathematics (FCUP); Master in Applied Mathematics (Aix-Marseille I); PhD in (Aix-Marseille I, 1990, equivalence FCUP).

Main activities:  Researcher in 4 research projects in Engineering subjects; supervisor of 2 doctoral theses; author of more than 50 technical and scientific publications; member of the Superior Statistical Council - Northern Regional Section until 2002.

Strongly interdisciplinary training and activity. Examples of applications: urban traffic systems; probabilistic engineering mechanics; cementitius materials, renewable energies, team design for emergency health services ...
