Objectives

The objective of this unit is to provide students with knowledge and skills that will enable them to recognize the
importance of the planning and evaluation steps in the implementation of nutrition education projects.

Learning outcomes and competences

As a final result of learning, it is expected that competences will be acquired in the capacity to:
1. Recognize the importance of the diagnosis in the nutrition education interventions;
2. Develop skills to monitor and evaluate the nutrition education projects;
3. Recognize the importance to define objectives and indicators.

Calculation formula of final grade

Assessment will include oral presentation and discussion of a case study of intervention in the area (60%) and a final
exam (40%) in which a minimum mark of 9,5 out of 20 is required.
