Provide theoretical and practical knowledge about food and nutrition in healthy and pathology children and adolescents.
Demonstration of the consistency of the syllabus with the learning objectives of the course. The syllabus contents meet the pathophysiological approach, semiology of clinical conditions, principles of approach and relevant nutritional intervention in Pediatrics.

THEORETICAL CLASSES - One theoretical class (1 hour) per week - expository class
THEORETICAL-PRACTICAL CLASSES - One practical theoretical class (1 hour) per week - expository and interactive with discussion and resolution of clinical cases on subjects covered in theoretical classes, as well as in PL
PL - a laboratory practice class (hour and a half - 90 ') in the context of a clinical office, at Sao João hospital, every three weeks, in order to provide students with the possibility of contacting children and adolescents with different pathologies either during hospitalization, or particularly in external consultations.
Group Work - carried out by students and discussion of them with all elements of the class, using every week (including naturally in the week in which the laboratory practice class is scheduled)

The final grade will be obtained by the sum of all components.
The final classification results from the sum of the referred components, with a minimum value of 9.5 values for the final approval of the UC.
Mandatory presentation of written group work to enter the UC final exam, except in the case of student workers who can do individual work.
Final exam, consisting of multiple answer questions: 15 points
