Objectives
To deepen, through research and preparation of an artistic project, the knowledge and skills in the areas of specialization in Fine Arts and the objectives of the Study Cycle.
Develop themes relevant to one or another area of specialization that can contribute to the field of Fine Arts.
To frame each student's scientific, authorial, and professional interests in the ongoing theoretical-practical investigation as well as in current professional practices.

Program
Research proposal, the project defined and previously approved by the Master's scientific committee.
Definition, with the respective supervisor, of a plan and a work methodology.
The first phase of implementation and presentation of the plan and state of development.
Assessment of progress and definition of any adjustments based on the results obtained in the first phase of the work.
The second phase of writing the dissertation or project implementation.
Presentation of the work being concluded with external commentators.
Finalization of Dissertation or Project Report
Delivery of the written component of the work developed for approval by the scientific committee.
Final presentation and discussion in public exams.

Duration of Public Dissertation Exams and Project Report:
In the Dissertation modality, the candidate has up to 30 minutes to present the tests.
In the Report/Project mode, the duration is the same, including up to 15 minutes of a guided visit to the project exhibition, followed by 15 minutes of presentation of the report.
In the subsequent public discussion, whose duration may never exceed 70 minutes, the candidate must be given the same time as used by the examiner, up to 20 minutes each.
The advisor is given up to 5 minutes for a final comment.
Without prejudice to the preceding paragraphs, it is incumbent upon the president of the jury to establish, at the beginning of the test, the order and concrete duration of each of the interventions, as well as to resolve any doubts, arbitrate any contradictions, ensure that all rights are respected and guarantee the dignity of the act.
Jury Deliberation
Once the discussion referred to in the previous article is concluded, the jury meets for examination of the test and for deliberation on the classification of the dissertation, of the candidate's project work through a reasoned roll-call vote, abstentions not being allowed.
Minutes are drawn up at the jury meeting, containing the votes of each of its members and the respective reasons, which may be common to all or some members of the jury.

Calculation formula of final grade
The Dissertation/Project Report will be assigned a rating on the entire numerical scale from 0 to 20, which includes the following parameters:
Theoretical dissertation: 70% Written component .30% Act of public defense
Project Report: .40% Written component; .40 % Artistic project developed during the Master's and Exhibition; .20% Act of public defense.
